Building Collapse in Nigeria.

On Wednesday March 13th in the Nigerian city of Lagos, a commercial building collapsed. Right now, 8 people are confirmed dead. The building was three stories, and was designed to be residential. Unfortunately, there was also an illegal school operating on the top floor. In addition to the illegal school, there were also unauthorized shops open on the ground floor. Sadly, building collapses are very frequent in Nigeria. This is due to poor construction materials and inconsistent enforcement of building code laws.
